The real problem

Launch day is the easy part.

Anyone can hand you a pile of lumber and power tools. That's not a house — and it doesn't keep you dry when it rains.

The hard part starts after go-live: the bug you can't reproduce, the feature your customers are asking for, the change you're afraid will break something. That's when most founders realize they're stranded with software they can't operate.

RedScissors doesn't leave you at the jobsite. We keep the house standing — bugs, updates, and all — so you never have to become your own engineer.

After launch

We keep it running after launch.

Report a bug or ask for a feature in plain English — we reproduce it, fix it, test it, and ship it while you stay focused on your business.

  1. 01

    Bugs, in your words

Tell us what's broken like you'd tell a teammate — we investigate, fix, validate, and deploy.

  2. 02

    Features, not fantasies

Describe what you need next — we turn it into a tested change you can review before it goes live.

  3. 03

    Memory that sticks

Your project remembers past decisions and fixes, so every change builds on what came before.

Real maintenance

One we built. Still standing.

This isn't a screenshot from launch day. We ship real apps — and keep changing, fixing, and deploying them long after go-live. Our first maintenance log is on the way.

Maintenance log

We're documenting our first maintained app — check back soon.

Day one

We build it too — from idea to live app.

Describe what you want, preview it in your browser, and when you're ready we deploy a real product to production — all in your GitHub repo and your database.

  1. 01

    Describe it

    Plain English. No specs required.

  2. 02

    Preview it

See a working version before anything goes live.

  3. 03

    Ship it

Approve the preview and your app goes to production.

When we pause

If we can't ship it safely, we stop — and tell you.

Not every change is safe to push live on the first try. When something is too risky — or we're not confident it won't break your app — we pause instead of guessing.

Nothing reaches production without you knowing. You stay in the loop, and because your code lives in your GitHub repo, you can always bring in a human developer to pick up where we left off.

How we keep it safe

Every change goes through the same guardrails — so you get speed without gambling your live app.

Validated first

Every fix and feature is tested against your app before it touches production.

Canary-deployed

Changes roll out to a small slice first — not straight to everyone.

One-click rollback

Something off? Roll back instantly. Your live app stays yours to control.

You own everything

Code in your GitHub. Data in your DB. Leave with everything.

Your repo, your database, your product — no lock-in, no hostage data, no export fee if you ever walk away.

  • Full source code in your GitHub account

  • Your data stays in your database

  • No engineer in the loop — and no platform trap if you leave

Questions

The doubts you're probably carrying.

Straight answers — no fine print buried three clicks deep.

Will you change my live app without asking me?

No. You approve changes before they reach production. We validate and canary-deploy first — nothing goes live silently.

Can I bring my own developer in later?

Yes. Your code lives in your GitHub repo. Any developer you hire can work on it like any other project — you're never locked in to us.

What if it can't build what I need?

We'll tell you honestly. If your idea needs something we can't support yet in alpha, we'll say so up front instead of handing you broken software.

What happens to my data and code if I leave?

You keep everything — repo, database, and data. See You own everything above. Walk away with the full product, no export fee.

What does it cost?

Pricing is still being set for alpha. During alpha, you can start free — we'll share details before anything changes.

Early alpha

Try it while we're still early.

RedScissors is v0.1.0 alpha — the full loop is real, and we're looking for founders who want a product someone else keeps standing, not just code that launches once.

No credit card. No engineer required. You own everything from day one.
